Getting around Newcastle

Newcastle upon Tyne has a compact city centre which is within easy walking distance of the University campus, hotels and train station. In addition, the Metro underground system connects the coast and airport with the city centre. The QuayLink bus service runs through the city centre and connects the University campus with the picturesque (and lively!) quayside area of Newcastle/Gateshead.
